OMD #8: Art, Activism and Ethnographic Collections

After three months on display, the Invisible Inventories exhibition at the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum in Cologne is already coming to an end. On the 29th of August the International Inventories Programme is organizing the closing event: the 8th Object Movement Dialogue will bring together artists from the Invisible Inventories exhibition with Peju Layiwola (@pejulayiwola), an artist herself and It’s-Yours! curator of the RESIST! exhibition that is currently on display in Cologne as well. Together with moderator Regina Sarreiter (@regsarr), the linkages between artistic practice, activism and ethnographic collections will be discussed.

On the panel:

Njoki Ngumi and Jim Chuchu (The Nest Collective); Marian Nur Goni, Sam Hopkins and Simon Rittmeier (The SHIFT Collective); Peju Layiwola; moderated by Regina Sarreiter

The Object Movement Dialogue will be live at 6pm CET / 7pm EAT on Facebook (@inventoriesprogramme) and YouTube (@internationalinventoriesprogramme)
